Acceptance

These Terms of Use cover the nubi app, nubi.health website, and beta waitlist. Please read them before creating an account, using these services, or joining the waitlist. By using the services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

For these terms, "nubi", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Nubi Oy, Finnish Business ID 3624389-9, D-U-N-S Number 369314210, with registered address at Työpajanpiha 2, 00580 Helsinki, Finland. Nubi Oy operates the nubi.health website and nubi brand.

The app beta is for adults aged 18 or over and for personal wellness use. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and your contact email up to date. Any paid offer will have its price and additional terms presented before you purchase it.

Our privacy policy explains how we use personal data. Agreement to these terms does not replace the separate, explicit consent required to use your health data.

Health information

The app and website provide general information and wellness guidance, including AI-generated suggestions that can be inaccurate. They do not provide medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, diet, medication, supplements, or treatment. Do not use the app or website for emergencies or urgent medical needs. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

Beta waitlist

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee selection for beta testing, access to any product or feature, launch timing, early bird pricing, discount, or other commercial offer. Beta seats may be limited, and we may accept, pause, limit, or close waitlist signups at our discretion.

If we invite you to a beta, launch, early bird pricing, discount, or other offer, the specific terms will be provided separately in that invitation or offer.

You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for ensuring that your waitlist submission does not violate these terms or any applicable law.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the app or website, interfere with their operation, attempt to bypass security or anti-abuse measures, submit false or misleading information, scrape or harvest data at scale, use the services for unlawful purposes, or infringe the rights of nubi or others.

Intellectual property and your content

nubi and its licensors own the app and website software, design, branding, and content they provide. You may use the app for personal wellness and view the website for personal or internal business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reuse our software, branding, or content without permission, except as allowed by law or an applicable licence.

You retain ownership of the content you provide, including your messages and photos. You may save and share your own content and the plans and summaries provided for your personal use. Nothing in this section transfers ownership of your content to us or limits your data protection rights. Our privacy policy explains how we process your personal data, subject to your health-data consent where required.

Third-party services and links

The app and website use service providers and may link to external websites or let you connect optional services, such as Apple Health or Health Connect. Independent services you choose to use may have their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control those independent services, but remain responsible for our own services and our obligations when using providers to deliver them. Our privacy policy explains how personal data is shared.

Availability and beta limitations

The app is in beta, so you may encounter errors or interruptions. The app and website may also be temporarily unavailable for maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted access or particular health outcomes. These limitations do not remove our obligations to provide the service as agreed, protect personal data, or remedy defects as required by law.

Liability

Our liability for the app, website, and waitlist is determined by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable rights to compensation for personal injury or data protection violations. Your mandatory consumer rights and remedies remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in law or regulatory requirements, address security or abuse risks, or describe new or updated features. Changes must be reasonable and must not fundamentally alter the service you agreed to. We will publish the updated terms here and update the date above.

For material changes affecting your rights or obligations, we will email affected account holders and waitlist members at least one month before the changes take effect. The email will explain what is changing, why, the effective date, and how to end your use of the service. We may give shorter notice only where a change in law or a binding decision by an authority requires it.

If you do not agree with a change, you can close your account in the app settings or contact us to end your use of the service or leave the waitlist, without a cancellation fee. The existing terms continue to apply during the notice period. Where a change requires your agreement under applicable law, we will ask for it before applying the change to you. Corrections that do not affect your rights or obligations may take effect when published.

Changes to how we use personal data are explained in our privacy policy. An update to these terms does not expand your health-data consent or limit your privacy or mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Finnish law, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise.
